Artist I’m vibin’ to
Big Wild, so hot right now. Big Wild. Earlier this year, he was opening for ODESZA, just finished up touring with Gramatik, and goes back on tour with ODESZA at the end of November.
If you haven’t heard anything from him yet, go check him out on SoundCloud.
If you haven’t heard of it, November Project here’s a synopsis from Wikipedia:
The November Project is a free, open-to-the-public exercise group founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 2011. The name “November Project” comes from the fact that the founders began in November, 2011 and used a Google Docs document to track their progress – called, of course, “November project.” While sessions in all cities occur year round, the name stuck.
Now it’s in over 20 cities. What I love about it is the system they use to hold people accountable. If you verbally commit to going and don’t show, you’ll be featured on their “We Missed You” page, embarrassing pictures and all.
I went the other day in Boston, where NP started, and the workout kicked my ass! Here’s a list of all the cities they are in.
What’s going on
The past couple weeks I’ve been in Boston visiting friends and starting my offseason training with my offseason strength coach, Sam, at Pure Performance Training in Needham.
I also had an awesome meeting with some of the team over at InsideTracker in Cambridge, where we talked about optimizing performance and analyzed my recent biomarker results — look for more in a future post.
I leave for the Bay Area in a few days to visit my host family from this past year in San Jose and my brother, who now lives in San Francisco.
Something I lost and was so happy to find
If you don’t have one, a portable hard drive is a handy device. I thought I had lost mine in the shuffle of moving my belongings, but found it when I went to visit my mom. It was right next to my Gameboy Color with Pokémon Yellow.
Anyway, being able to back up your files is essential for digital hoarders like myself. If you have a fear of “the cloud” and what you put on it, this is a very viable option. I have the 500 GB but the 1 TB G-Drive is only $10 more. To put that into perspective, 1 TB is about 250,000 mp3 songs.
YouTube Channel Launch
Yup, HML is expanding! We just started the channel this week, and I’ll be starting with vlogging and moving into How-to/Lifehack videos once we get the ball rolling.
Leave some suggestions for the channel in the comments and check out the vlog teaser below!
